Chef Victor Corral is one of the key players in making Dive Coastal Cuisine the popular, healthy, bright spot it is today.

Victor was born and raised in Garland, Texas, where his love of cooking started at home. Victor is the oldest of the 3 children of Jesus and Martha Corral, both Mexican immigrants who came to the United States for a more prosperous life for their family. Victor found excitement for cooking at a young age, watching his mother and extended family create traditional Mexican feasts for the family.

Later Victor enrolled in Le Cordon Bleu Institute of Culinary Arts, where he gained a more classical education in kitchen operations. With these tools and years of interest in the culinary world, Victor began at Pei Wei Asian Diner, quickly working his way up to corporate trainer and opening manager. After graduating Le Cordon Bleu, Victor became the lead line cook under the prestigious Executive Chef Scott Gottlich at the 2nd Floor Restaurant for Starwood Hotel and Resorts.

Victor was introduced to Chef Franchesca Nor of Dive Coastal Cuisine during his tenure at the 2nd Floor. Since working for Chef Nor, Victor has proven his ability to not only manage his own kitchen team, but he also creates recipes alongside Chef Nor for private events and in-house specials. Victor also enjoys the front of house, interacting with customers with the utmost respect and charisma.
