Rich Rogers, proprietor/cheesemonger of Scardello Artisan Cheese, discovered his passion for food at an early age in his hometown of Dalhart, Texas. Rogers has parlayed this love into a family business with Scardello Artisan Cheese, which opened in October 2008 in Dallas’ Oak Lawn/Turtle Creek neighborhood. The shop is named after Rogers’ grandfather, Peter Scardello, who taught him the love of cooking and sharing wonderful food with friends and family. Rogers is a member of the American Cheese Society, has served as Chair of the ACS Judging and Competition Committee for 3 years, and an ACS Certified Cheese Professional.

Scardello has two locations in Dallas at Oak Lawn and in the new Dallas Farmers Market.
