A native of Houston, Chef Kirthan Shenoy grew up exposed to southern hospitality as well as the influence of the multicultural diversity that Houston represents. Trained in various techniques before studying food & wine education in Italy, he gained the necessary skills and well-rounded structure. Kirthan has spent the past seven years professionally cooking in New York from fine dining ventures under Michelin starred Chef Michael White (Vaucluse, Marea, Ai Fiori) to private catered affairs.
Kripa is a creative and motivated pâtissier with diverse experience and a broad range of education in pastry techniques. As a classically trained pastry chef, Kripa has spent the last 3 years under the tutelage of some of the biggest names in the industry, successfully mastering French and Italian pastries. Having spent years in a 2 Star Michelin rated restaurant in New York (MAREA), Kripa has a caliber of experience not found in the Houston food scene.
Auden, Chef Kirthan’s signature restaurant, showcases a scratch kitchen with a focus on seasonal and local ingredients. A vegetable forward menu compliments abundant seafood and meats and is presented in an approachable manner for the diverse Houston consumer. Each dish is carefully curated to allow the ingredients to shine.
