Chef Jonah Friedmann leads the culinary team at Commons Club, Virgin Hotels flagship ground floor restaurant, bar and lounge. The Chicago-born Chef focuses on seasonality and modernism engaging all the senses with experiential dining elements including items prepared table-side and shareable plates. The colorful and playful dishes focus on fresh seasonal flavors, utilizing Texas farmers like Molino Oloyo, Texas Fungus, and Epicurean Greens as well as Commons Club’s very own Chef’s Garden with an array of micro greens. Friedmann has been featured on NBC’s ‘Texas Today’ and has been named a “2022 Rising Star Chef” by CultureMap Dallas with Commons Club named as “Best Restaurant in Dallas 2022” by Time Out Dallas.
